THIS MUCH! (O_o)

You have to remove the interior panel, and all the screws and fasteners and clips along with it, without tearing the panel to get it off. Then you have to pry the handle free from its ball-and-socket mounting and pull it out. What should have been a 20 minute job for me became a 2 hour job over the course of two days. Mind you, this was just one panel.

I’ll be going after the second one after work today; but for now, have this Carrera Targa that’s parked at my work parking lot currently. :)

Even better when you can’t even open the door! :o

That seems about right. Most cars are like that. My truck is like that, but my door handle is riveted on. I do not relish the day that I need to replace my door handle

I'm forcing myself to remember not to shut the doors or even try and close them..

Mine’s held in place with one small screw; aside from this other nonsense.

Super easy in my Miata, such a bitch in the MINI.

To replace the mirror on the Bonneville I had to take the door card off and unbolt the entire window regulator.
